  Jiang Chun, a native of Changshu, Jiangsu Province, was born in 1943. He graduated from the painting section of Suzhou Technical Arts Institute in 1962. His works have been exhibited in the National Art Exhibition four times, as well as other exhibition held in Europe, Asia, the U.S.A. and Japan. "Homecoming" "Watching the Bounteous Paddy and Bean Fields with Delight" and "Morning" are collected at the British Museum in London, Suzhou Art Museum and Guangzhou Art Museum respectively. His artistic achievement is recorded by the Dictionary of Chinese Artists and Directory of Contemporary Chinese Artists. The scenery of the lake region of Jiangnan forms the major theme of his paintings, which are characterized by a spontaneous touch and an organic integration of mood and scenery.
Jiang is now a member of Chinese Artists' Association, Deputy Chairman of Suzhou Artists' Association and an editor of Suzhou Daily.
